Neither One Of Us Said Good-Bye Poem by Drew Engman

Neither One Of Us Said Good-Bye

You know I've felt my share of sad times, and more than a couple of tears
Found out most things I thought were mine, I'd lose over all the next years

But of ev-ry-thing we tried to hold on to, after all of the things we did wrong
Your love always stayed so strong…
And I still like singing our old songs

Some days are dark and cold and lonely, and it's all I can do to get by
Missing all my One-And-Only's, who don't even bother to try

Then the sun comes out, and it's Springtime again, all my hopes start to rise up so high
Neither one of us said "Good-Bye"
Love's always willing to give anothertry…

Andof ev-ry-thing we tried to hold on to, after all of the things we did wrong
Your love always stayed so strong
And I still like singing our old songs…
