Our neutrality is our right and our choice.
We are the people, and we have a voice.
No politician should pull rank over us.
For we are the backbone of Eireann trust.

War may take place in Europe, we know,
Our peacekeeping troops are ready to go.
Ireland will stand by those who need our backing.
Keeping our neutrality does not mean lacking.

So, we will go forth and speak our mind,
Stand for truth and the love of mankind.
Neutrality is for us, and that is the fact.
Those who oppose it may go with the pack.
