It hurts to love you day after day

Knowing even after a life-time

You will never be mine

Fate brought you in my sight

Where you engraved yourself in my heart

Even on that first day

it was more than I could take

You turned my blood into liquid fire

Even now after so long

You are still my desire

Everytime we meet

The feelings are still as sweet

Is it possible to want so much?

Before you there was nothing as such

Just to look at you

was something of a boundless pleasure

But now that I'm able to talk to you

stand close enough to know its true

It's the sweetest torture so far

The shape of your lips

The deep brown of your eyes

To hear your voice when you talk

I can only wait and hope it stops

Because I know nothing can be gained

That the truth will always remain

That no matter how many times I wish it inside

You will never....

...never be mine
