Never again
Will I search the crowds
For your face
I wont let my tears
My fears be readable
On my face

I won't
Hand you my heart
Just to let it be shattered
I won't take back the pieces
So ratty and tattered

When you can't bring yourself
To tell me
You love me
I won't cry myself to sleep
Trying not to be lonely

When you break my trust
This time
The millionth time
You will never get it back
You'll be left there standing
In the dust, forever knowing
What you lack

Never again
Will I let myself fall
I know you won't catch me
I won't let it matter
at all.

Never again
I say
To every new addition
I say it every time
But I never
Seem to listen.
