I am the pebble and the pond
The hand holding the pebble
I am the ripple on the water
and the water of the pond
I hold the pebble
in the wind above the water
I am the ripple
that moves across the pond
when the pebble falls
and the water
which swallows the pebble
after my hand has opened
I am the air
through which the pebble travels
and the gravity
that pulls the pebble into the pond
I am the bottom of the pond--
the gravel which catches the pebble
as it comes to rest-- the eye and the mind
that lie witness to the world
I am the rest that rests momentarily
because I am the pebble
I am the pond
The hand holding the pebble
I am the ripple moving upon the water
The gravel-- I am the fall
And I am the travel--
traveling through it all
