Never Ending Cycle Poem by Paul Burt

Never Ending Cycle

Watch my hopes fade away
See my dreams become nightmares
Look at my world turned upside down

Doesn't matter where I go or what I do the world will always have pre-conceived opinion just by looking at you like judging a book by it's cover without reading the pages of your life

We try to do good deeds but usually ends up taking the fall

Our pleas for help usually goes on def ears or ignored like you don't exist

Trouble finds you no matter how hard you try to avoid it

You just want to try and live a happy life but the world at large won't let you

Cause life she can be a real bitch to us all for no reason

it grinds you down
it breaks you down
it makes you want to say fuck it and be done with it all

Would be easy to take the easy way out but even then it changes nothing

Wake up the next day the cycle repeats itself.
