Never Finished Poem by Shane Engisch

Never Finished

Who can mimic a mirror?
Only the shape of it can alter
Stand one in front of the other and travel to where you kneel before the throne
The only limitation ever known

Cruise along the starlit highway
Unless you know a better way
I'm not holding on
The currents strong always
At the edge before the fall
Just a little tip
I'd wake up and learn to fly
Or grab onto the stream's vines

Only fear can drop the floor away
Debating or hesitating can doubt the world in vain
We'll all find a way out

Have I a lost a piece or found one
I can't tell if the puzzles even getting there
Auto-pilot engage action
Sometimes we like the cruise control
Letting fate direct the soul

Cruise along the starlit highway
Unless you know a better way
I'm not holding on
The currents strong always
At the edge before the fall
Just a little tip
I'd wake up and learn to fly
Or grab onto the stream's vines

Only fear can drop the floor away
Debating or hesitating can doubt the world in vain
We'll all find a way out
find... a...way... out
find...a.. way... out...

Save the fight for the demons that come
Don't damn the night
Just dance the spirit rite
Unleash a force that is ready to go
No, you cannot contain it!
Oh we can be a better being
Make the focal point the bigger picture
Look into the space inside of every single place and find
Nothing is was it seems
The valley between the mind screams
To unlock the world
