Never Lost, Always There Poem by Kelsey Decker

Never Lost, Always There

I cant go on
Not another day
The pouring rain
That falls upon the lake

I look up lost
wondering "are you really gone? "
The tears upon my face
Falls upon the concrete

I sit on my knees
Hands in my face
Yelling " NO NO you can't be! "
I cry cover in rain soaked

I open my eyes thinking
Maybe if I blink twice
you'll still be here by me
I blink and when I open them

Your not here still the rain falls
Upon me as the night turns to day
I look up to see a light
An angel smiling at me

I wipe away my tears
Seeing now that I can
I have my life now seeing
You are always with me

Never gone
Never lost
Always here
When I need you
