Never together
close as can be
the love in your eyes
only I can see

A plan that we thought
would keep us so strong
how can I know
if we're right or wrong?

Too strong for my heart
too empty to believe
such a long lasting goal
I'm hoping to achieve

Your motives are questioned
your love is a mystery
do you remember each moment
we've shared in our history

Do you really love me
for the real me
do you really care
for more than what you see?

I have not fallen
but when I do
I hope you will catch me
and help get me through.
