New Beginings - Poem by Louie Thompson
Every time I see you
there is a smile on my face.
I don't know what it is
but no one could ever take your place.
You make me laugh
just when I'm about to cry.
And I can't control myself
whenever I see you walk by.
There is something about you,
something I just can't see.
But whatever it is
I love how it makes me feel free.
You lift the weight
from my broken-down shoulders.
You're like a gift from heaven
or one of the world's wonders.
I don't know why
but I'm falling for you.
So I'll let fate lead me
to wherever it wants to.
