New Born Dream Poem by Monica Scott Nichols

New Born Dream

Rating: 5.0

From the ebb and flow of a fluid, interior abode
to my waiting arms and open heart. A boy.

With eyes wide shut, you instinctively beckon me
to nourish and protect your existence, before the dawn
of knowing.

I abide. And swaddle you in the shelter you have
always dwelled.
