New Consciousness - Poem by John Griffiths

I close my eyes and flow within
The confines of my mind.
Where shackles have no meaning,
And the limits hard to find.

I can swim towards the other world,
With the motion of the tide,
As new consciousness emerges,
From the knowledge deep inside.

No mass can hold me prisoner,
Or earthly eyes can see,
As I move within my inner-self,
With the knowledge I am free.
