When you are a child, you need help crossing the street.
And when you grow older, you, again, need help crossing the street.
Why do we revert to the way that we were?
Is it by choice? Or did we stop making our own decisions a while back?
A good attempt in the chapter of olds and golds. You may like to read my ars poetica named as (Poetic Sense-1) Thanks

Good write indeed. But something seems to have gone missing. It is not a question of choice otherwise you could have included the phase of young age also. It is the level of a man's physical fitness and reflexes which necessitate any help or support while crossing the road. Thanks.
