New Year 2012 (In Sonnet) Poem by Dr John Celes

The old year fleeted off in rapid style,
And brought some signal changes in the world;
It caused secretion of some bitter bile,
And took away some souls both young and old!

Yet, many problems stay as such till date;
Corruption’s one defying all efforts;
More nations have in heart a lot of hate;
Some uneasy stay despite more comforts!

But God will bring the changes He intends;
No human fool can wreck the planet earth;
The righteous few will reap great dividends;
More evil minds will vanish despite birth.

Through Nature God will churn the earth’s bellies;
And truths triumph, prevailing over lies!
