New Year,2017 Poem by Dr John Celes

New Year,2017

The Old Year brought some ups and downs;
The New Year may bring you some frowns;
Welcome the New Year Twenty Seventeen;
Let's hope 'Tis brighter with more sheen.

Let peace and love prevail in heart;
Let all be honest from the start;
Say ‘no' to wars and destruction;
Avoid wastage; curb corruption.

Unite, combat terrorism;
Work hard, live with optimism;
Let's practice more humanism;
Let's follow much altruism.
