Newly Blossomed.... Poem by MBJ Pancras

Thou art a child of God, eternally designed to follow Him;
Yet in His time on earth thou wert born nine and ten years ago,
A gift of God unto us a long time later since our nuptial,
Must be His Will and Plan on earth to mould thee by His Will.

On this day thou hast crossed nine and ten years:
Might be ‘midst trials and thorns; yet thou hast been in His Arm,
And on this day thou hast stepped onto twenty,
And it's the statehood of adulthood to seek God more and more:
Thou art to seek God in Christ Jesus for His Glory,
And it's His Will and Plan in thee to enter Eternity.

Thou hast stepped on the path of adulthood by His Grace,
For thou learnt the pros and cons of teens:
Thou grew tenderly with thy motherly cushion,
And walked on thy fatherly footprints,
And thy life in teens hath been learning unto adulthood,
And thou did it well, we believe in the Lord.

Thy new life in adulthood shall be a blessing in Him,
And thou shall walk in purity and with the fear of the Lord,
For life on earth is just a sojourn of preparation for Eternity,
And God in Christ Jesus shall be thy Eternal Father.

Thy thoughts and deeds ought to please Him
And He shall be pleased in thee for thy obedience unto Him.
