Night
You've come to me
Like a blanket of love
To keep me safe from others
You wrap it up all around me
Holding me tight in your arms
You kiss me all over
Soothing my pains away
Strong and silent you stay
Listening to my thoughts and woes
As birds start to sing in chorus
You leave me open
Until the sun sets
Then you come once more
