As night rolls in
The sky looks like blue fire
Stars explode out of the dark
Out of the confines of night
The moon rises over the clouds
Conquering the grey and white forms
That threaten it
Threaten to take over
The lake glitters splendidly
In the pale light of the sky
Reflecting dreams of the future
Ripples breaking the surface
The laughter of a child
Comes from somewhere in the distance
Sending chills down my spine
So haunting
But the lake is at peace
The moon smiles hello
My dreams are full of promise of another day approaches.
