Can't find my way
The shadows are calling
Night and day
The sky is falling

I'm pulling away
My mind is stalling
It's not okay
Why am I falling?

Night and Day
Day and Night
I shiver and sway
I cry with fright

Like food with no taste
Or a broken mind
Such a waste-
With no savior to find

I fly for the sun
Beaten into silence
It can't be undone
All this pointless violence

Fortune for fame
Tears for time
Do you feel the pain?
Will you draw the line?

If the world is painted black
If the sky is painted red
Would we ever go back?
Or would we all be dead?

Do we have to fight?
Do we have to cry?
Which is the light?
Which is the lie?
