Night Insecurities Poem by Gabriela Padurariu

Night Insecurities

I will be too selfish, if...
I want to see me always through your eyes?
I would ask for too much or too little,
If I want you to be always with me?

You would love to feel the rain together,
Or would you go for the sun's rays?
You'd like us to ignite together,
Or would you quench alone?

You would love me in the cold mornings,
Or would you just spend the hot nights with me?
I will be the moon of your life,
Or just a star around her?

You would include me in your life and your thoughts,
Or just in your bed?
You would keep my secrets and fears,
Or would you betray me at the first chance?

You would heal my wounds when I will be hurt,
Or would you dig them deeper?
I could count on you in the future,
Or you will be just someone evanescent...
