Night Love Poem by Alec MacLellan

Night Love

Hope and love dies at night,
When the sun is no longer in sight,
This is when you learn the truth,
And you start to lose your youth,
The sun has to take turns with hell,
Its the only way for life to go well,
Love is not worth the fight,
Its really to bad I thought it might,
But in the end,
I find myself asking if its worth the spend,
Love and hope,
Makes me sick to even cope,
They always tell me I can't commit,
But there's some things I can't quit,
No one really can understand,
My relationships I always canned,
I'm sorry that I struggle with trust,
But I won't be blown like the dust,
I know that as long as I do what I do,
That I will never have trust for any of you,
Its to bad cause I feel alone,
But my love and hope are always thrown,
I base my love off the sun,
Because the sun thinks its won,
So maybe thats how I'll stay,
I guess that would be okay,
Do more one night stands,
And forget about all the demands,
When the night finally falls,
Were see who stalls.
