Night Note 135 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Hello my sweet love and as I rise
from a good bit of sleep more
I wanted to say I love you dear.
I love you so very very much
and as I still feel so very sad missing you
I wish you were here to snuggle with
and to hold as I am up for a bit.
My first order of business is a cleansing shower
and I wish you were here to just
kiss and hold as we stood under the water.
Because of course in the winter
even in a shower so warm
it gets cold outside of where the water hits
and we would keep each other warm.
Just share some kisses as we stood there
and smiled at each other.
I wish you were here to snuggle with
my sweet precious lady.

Then after our refreshing shower
I would let you use my robe
to stay so warm and toasty.
I would cook us some good food
while we watched a movie,
even if we didn't finish it
it would be fun to snuggle under
my big fuzzy orange blanket and get it started.
But let's think of all that
when I have stepped out of the shower.

I love you sweet Kira and so
just want to hold you and talk to you.
We can both let the tears go
that we have needed to.
I love you sweet darling
you are my everything
and I will write you my Angel
after I have taken this shower
I so wish we could be
sharing and holding each other together.
