Night Note 62 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Hello my sweet darling
I'm up and about though
I feel mostly like a zombie.
Restless sleep not very
calm and deep so I'm just
going to get up and
do some of the things I need.
You know I usually do
my chores in the night as it goes,
so eat some food and
then do all of those,
I'll be thinking of you all the time.
Wishing you were here to
just relax and talk while I do my work.
Just being near and feel your love,
then afterwards just sit down
and holding hands talk
about this and that laughing
and enjoying the love we share.
That would be so beautiful
my only one.
I'll be with you the whole
night through wrapped up
in my arms snuggling
and holding your hand too.
Letting you know I truly love you
and that I always will
you're not alone because I am here.
I love and miss you very much my dear.
I will write you poems
today as wonderfully
and as much as I can.
I want to post only the best for you,
so I promise to give you
my best and all I can.
I only strive to honor you
and want to make you happy and so proud.
I fear I've fallen short on that.
I love you dear and am sending
all my loving warmth with
everlasting peace and strength.
I send to you this great big kiss
to fill you with my wholesome love,
know that it's true in every way.
I miss you so very much and
will love you through eternity
my sweet Angel and loving Queen.
