Night, The Dark Groom Poem by Ese Oscar

Night, The Dark Groom

Bloom of floral life halts at utter gloom
Lives sleep, nevertheless lives come alive
At the break of night, the day of the groom

From chirp to chirp, and we bid bye to blue
Fellows to abode, drones as well to hives
The white bride deserts the awful black groom

New light is born but scarce to fill a room
Old light hibernates in nature's archive
At the break of night, the day of the groom

Lunar; astral lights too faint to illume
And the groom is gifted a faulty bride
At the break of night, the day of the groom

For distorted sight, we tend to assume
What lies where and whatever to decide
The white bride deserts the awful black groom

While baleful lives wear sinister perfumes
Others in bed expect the good old light
Rejuvenation, perfection of sight
At the break of light, departure of gloom

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Flowers no longer bloom at night (gloom) Diurnal creatures sleep, but nocturnal lives wake Once its night (the groom in a wedding wears black and the bride wears white thus he signifies darkness) Birds sleep, crickets wake (chirp to chirp, same sound both creatures make) Men to houses, bees to hives Day parts for the night (bride and groom) The moon comes out(new light) not as bright as the sun The sun rests as if in an archive Once it's night Moon and stars are not so bright So mistakes can be made (like giving Jacob Leah instead of Rachael; faulty bride) Once it's night We don't see clearly So we assume position of things and often take wrong decisions Day parts for the night While evil people and creatures work (baleful) Good people await the sunlight When they can see clearly again
