Nightly Tale Poem by Alex McCullough

Nightly Tale

Remember trying to catch every dropp that fell,
Or stretching to reach what couldn't be caught,
It's the same story of us always trying,
But does it stop when we greet the night?
I've traveled across the milky way and stars far beyond,
To where a sleigh made of dreams,
Takes you to meet the finalities of the unknown.
Just take a prayer,
And show how strong it can become,
Just take a day,
And share it with everyone,
Taking everything you weave and giving it back to the world,
And I'm sure the sleigh will arrive for you someday.
