Midnight Poem by Alex McCullough

Midnight

Wave bon voyage to the Sunlight,
And say hello to the Midnight,
Come on and join me,
So we can go out and party!
Even though its way pass my bedtime,
The moonlight keeps me awake,
Filling me with a mysterious sensation,
That I just can't shake off.
Part of me wants to get rid of it,
So I can rest in my dreams,
But the other wants to keep it,
So it can turn this night into a dream.
I really don't know what to do,
Because they both sound so tempting,
But if I'm gonna be able to dream either way,
Then I might as well stay up and watch what it becomes!
So let's dance out into the moonlight,
Gathering all the stars like candy,
Making this night even sweeter than it is,
I want to chow down on it,
Until I'm full of passion.
