Nightmare Poem by Kellykel Keller

Nightmare

There was alot of yelling and fighting. I went to my only safe place. It was dark. But in the corner was a lamp. I turned it on. Everything went black after a while. There was no sound whatsoever. I called out my moms name there was no sound. I followed the staircase down. There was broken glass everywhere and there was blood. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a little girl crying she had red blood all over her.
I went over to her and she looked up then screamed out 'MOM'. I couldn't figure it out. She looked like me when I was younger. There was no sound.I walked around the corner following the trail of blood. There she was dead on the floor with a pistol by her side along with the picture of my father. I saw a bright light, There she stood alive in front of me. She was crying. I ran to her and wrapped my arms around her and then said 'Please do not leave me.' I was crying with her. She held me tight and said 'I won't'. I smiled with tears on my face.
