Running From Monsters
In A Fiendish Nightmare
To Escape Tormentors
And Evil Equus Glare

Nightmare Chased Me
Thru Labyrinth of Pain
From A Dungeon Pendulum
With Hellish Chains

They Stabbed With Spears
In Constant Motion
And Inflicting Anguish
In Search-Beam Implosions

And An UnEarthly-Quake
Vibrated Violently
My Flesh and I Crawled
Thru The Macabre Scene

Nightmare Chased Me
As Bed Frame Rumbled
Caught In Crumpled Quilts
in Foiled-Escape, I Stumbled

Nightmare Chased Me
As I Tossed and Tumbled
Perspiring, Praying, Save Me!
Please God, My Heart, Humbled

Nightmare Chased Me
Like A Horse From Hades
Yes, Like A Mare Of Death
Eyes-Ultraviolet, Hates Me

Nightmare Chased Me
Pawing Gleefully
Galloping Closer
From HorsePower, Wake Me!

Nightmare Chased Me
‘Til I Was Carried Away …
By Wings Of Holy Angels
As Nightmare Raged and Brayed …

… Foiled and Fading Scheme
To Torture and Terrorize
For, Nightmare Was Chased
By The Dawn Of Open Skies …

… Now, Close Eyes
& Sweet Dreams …
