Nightmares Poem by Tucker Hall

I'm surrounded
Everywhere I look there is darkness
I am engulfed in it
It suffocates me
The more I struggle the further I get pulled in
I feel like i'm falling through nothing
I can hardly feel my bed underneath me almost like
like i'm floating in the air but when I look up
All I see is black
The black is all around me
I'm so scared and so lost but
At the same time
I feel calm and relaxed
Almost like this is the way it should be...
