Nilo Poem by Murphy Payne

Nilo

Rating: 5.0

Nilo my son
What are you doing in there?
Are you having fun?
When will you come out of there?

Nilo my boy
Your mother’s waiting anxiously
Just to hold you in her arms
Just to kiss you tenderly

For nine months or so
She is been your lifeline
For nine months or so
You have been her lifeline

And if you only knew
The changes she’s been through
Just to make you possible
Just to make you; you

Some others may disagree
And they surely have the right to
But the reason why we are here
Is to make beautiful babies just like you

Vanessa I’m your father
And your mother
You already know
