Nine Seven Poem by Estefano Molina

Nine Seven

Today is your birthday
haven't seen or heard from you
I still see you yellow
too bright for me to stare at directly
I guess I never really knew you
but then again who did?
it seems you never let anyone in
Well, I'm the same now
I'm exclusive or maybe outdated
I get those confused
Your life still seems like a movie
an Oscar worthy one to me
I was able to sneak in
but the usher found me
I got kicked out
but I'll settle watching the bootleg version
It's still a great view from afar
