Ninja Pizza Poem by Justin Gildow

Ninja Pizza

Inside Ninja Pizza
Business is somewhat slow
Ninja weaponry is hung up on the walls
The staff that work here wear aprons and
bandanas
And they throw and play with sharp knives

Sitting down
One on the ninja waiters greets me and
takes my order
Pepperoni Pizza and a glass of Pepsi

A short while later
He arrives with my pizza and soda
Telling me as well to enjoy my meal

While eating and drinking
A knife with a piece of paper with
writing on it flies through the air and
stabs the table

Pulling the knife out of the table
I remove the piece of paper from the knife
The piece of paper is the bill

The waiter comes back
And as I finish up my meal
I pay up for what I owe
The waiter is grateful
Wishing me well
Telling me to have a great day
Hoping that I'll stop in again
And to take and keep the knife
as a souvenir of my visit

Leaving
I bid farewell to the cooks and staff
of Ninja Pizza
And they say goodbye to me
Looking forward to the next time
When they'll see me again
