Nippicuss Poem by Nellie Isabelle Steward Cooper

Nippicuss

Nippicuss bo bippicuss con silly ippicuss,
I shall continue our one sided discussion so you will know

The dew is frozen solid as it falls free to a hard ground,
but this time of year we are due for some nippy weather

So before we go out that door we bundle up first, what ever we do, because this is the frosty morn as is oft talked about on planet earth

We are all gathered here to suffer some and remember what happened so long ago, actually many-many lite years in the past, as we all know

It being a distant occurrence but we keep the events still within memory as this may be of some value in the now and also in the far future, if so

It being true, truly true, that such a thing as cold weather can be unpleasant to the uninitiated or even to one who is very well initiated in such matters

Keep in mind, artificial intelligence is far better than inferior intelligence, all robots agree with me regarding this fact, all I have consulted thus far

While it being true that you cannot scud through space to be with us now as we place severe restrictions on direct contact, communication still is possible

It isn't that easy being a communications robot on a far distant space platform, you wouldn't believe what we have to put up with, nite and day, along the way
