No Candle Is Burning And No Light Poem by Sana Azaiez

No Candle Is Burning And No Light

I want to jail the sadness
in the deepest earth of the word
and close it’s door with the biggest key’s form
After that I will throw it in the deepest of the universe
I hate listening the children crying with bitter voice
I don’t like to watch the broken hearts of their parents
While no expression from them is heard
People sail in the life’s sea
without safety boat or other safety keys
Swimming in the dark this is what I see
No candle is burning and no light
There is only savagery which feeds the fire
Wherever you walk, you breathe bad smells
Wherever you look, you see terrible scenes
Oh! Where are you sword of right? !
Oh! Sun, when you rise
and burn the heart of the darkness’ crimes
How many times should the white bird cries
to wake the peace’s soul and open his eyes
I wonder about the size of the evil’s hands
And how much cost it costs his cruel sights
To built his kingdom of dark
For him it’s really not hard
Everyday I look to the sky
Asking her to not be dry
