No Credit To Westernization Poem by Amange Nguper Victor

No Credit To Westernization

Seeing the dusk of the 21st century,
Westernization as a mortuary
has taken victual of victimized us to the vulture.
Of course, we are casualties of the colonists’ culture.

had sacrificed our mark of sanity;
adopted the white man’s identity,
ideology and ill-literacy.
Whose ends emptied urea on our legacy,
installed executive extremists.
Had surrendered our heartthrobs to this supremists,
They entered/released the synergy,
Now we put to bed; emerging ends of empty energy.

Have they paid our price?
No! They are just been mice.
Is this westernization a present?
Overheard someone said it was Godsent!
rather a silence blazed blade for our black skin
Why make prey of your next of kin?
Will we survive the steel
in this high heel?
