No Defining Words Poem by Ololade Omololu

No defining words to utter,
when your dreams comes crashing like an avalanche.
When the cold winds of pain,
blows out your candles of hope.
Words are weak expressions of the heart.
No words to comfort a soul,
when God so full of love,
could watch you in tearful groans.
No defining words,
to plead with a broken spirit,
as I sleep through the longest night of my life.
Still there are no words to show my faith,
cos i still believe in the immutability of His name.
There are no defining words to understand the ways of God.
certainly, no words,
but i choose to carry on.
