Months to go before reaching my final DESTINATION
Protected by the WALLS of her Womb
I lay awaiting the fluid to come down the PASSAGE
Mother eats for two
Not sharing with you
Without everyone knowing her situation not sure their reaction
not ready to give explanation
Out of her wallet she shares ultra sound PICTURES
'Told you so, a Woman know's', her son OBLIVIOUS
Now more stun as if not knowing what the results of unprotected
SEX get her
It clicks when walking thru the door that day from work, she had headphones to her tummy playing a soft MELODY
Why didn't you first tell me?
He repeatedly ask it
INUMBERABLE
Thoughts rushed his mind
Off from work he would have to take time
To gather the baby room
He stepped outside for fresh air
Unaware so overwhelmed with EUPHORIA he be passing out
right there
Neighbor's & PASSER-BYS showed concern
A glass of water
He sat curious of what to name his daughter
He re-adjusted how he sat
Taking in all that
Realizing now he have to change his COMPOSURE
To life, for her INNOCCENCE
Wanting INTREGRITY taught to her
Re-new his vows, being RE-BORN
Once again to TRUST he's sworn
Husband was business being a Father is more then duty
Trials & errors of raising a cutie
From his other duties he needed to retire
You open the paper to read of shots being fired
News televise of PASSER-BYS being expired
His late nights consisted of money being wired
For all this time he's been a deceitful lair
Every thing he ever brought was at someone else's expense INDEBTED to this life in a sense
Dead clients numbered more Social than SECURITY
Years passed she grew learnt & knew
Of the bad things Daddy use to do
Now on the run
To die by it a smoking gun
Life giver & taker ENGRAVED on his tomb!
She visits him monthly leaving flowers for bee's to buzz from their wonderful SCENT
Mother aging constantly looking for ASSURRANCE her baby
doesn't follow his path although' she says what she meant...
I'm a Daddies girl & want to take on the family practice
No Father Like...hers of her peers she constantly ask this
What does your Father do for a living & how INVIGOROUSLY does he love you?
No Father Like…one living the edge
Keeping her safe to have the Flag Pledge
Doing above & beyond what he must do
For her freedom choosing to
Whatever in her life time is able to pursue
Daddies BaBy!
