No Hesitation Whatsoever Poem by sundaram chandrakalaadhar

No Hesitation Whatsoever

No hesitation whatsoever in admitting
‘Made with inconsistencies and deficiencies'
Never I crowed 'I am blemish-free! '
Daily I attempt to repair myself honestly
Though with only limited success;
I slip and slide down in sincere trials
And my soul is full of bruises, you may not know-
Don't tease me then with unkind words;
The winds of events settle fine dust on me.
Though may be far, far from me the truth
I struggle with my might to crawl closer to it.
I laugh at myself, reminded of endless attempts
But take courage that I rise up again and again;
I am still a raw rock face with craggy contours-
I will one day discover in its chiselled depths
My ‘ I ‘, the faint xerox of perfection!
