No King? (1)

The holy land lay several claim
The state of constant war
Many have sought to place their name
Who’ve failed to find The Door

Seeking to claim God’s chosen ground
To steal His Promised Land
Israel’s foes encamp around
Failing to understand

Religion’s made their eyes grow blind
Fanatics fill with hate
Without The Truth not one can find
The Key to wisdom’s gate

Although God’s word is loud and clear
The bible’s often free
Religion’s voice is all they hear
It’s wage is all they see

They fail to find The Way above
They fail to hear God’s voice
For God’s command is clearly love!
A way that’s not their choice

Their battle cry is kill, kill, kill
With terror as their sword
They’ll fight and war against God’s will
Denying Christ is Lord

It seems God’s children walk alone
Without their Guiding Light
No king sits on Israel’s throne
No champion helps them fight

And yet a King from Heaven reigns!
A King who rules the earth
A God who suffered awesome pains
A man of virgin birth P.T.O.
