No Matter What Poem by Kathryn Tyler King

No Matter What

No matter what I do,
I know Your love is true.
No matter where I go,
You’re loving hand will guide
Me through.

Your Word is my delight.
You give me peace and light
To travel through the land
You’ll change my wrongs
And make them right.

You’ve never left me.
You said you’d keep me
From falling very far,
So Lord, my life is in Your
Hands.

As I walk don’t let my feet slip.
As I talk may my words give
You the Glory.
As I live may the world see
You Lord.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written 1/13/2004, my hand was recovering from a second and third degree burn on my left writing hand. It occurred 1/1/2004 while making fried bread, almost to the day that Richard passed 1/2/2003. My writing was almost illegible. I found it in a day planner that I kept at home. I was in the burn unit for almost a week and all I could do was trust the Lord.
