No More... Poem by Hadi Mahdi

Never knew what went wrong...
Through my misery, my sadness...
Through my own sad song...

I found myself gazing at the endless sky,
Watching the stars burn... they cry!
Then i heard the screams of a thousand souls...
Such sad and painful desperate calls!
Stars they Shined, but yet felt cold...
They Call a man whose heart is fold!

On this land, on which he stands,
Only lonesome fears are in his hands...
So deep his thoughts, they dressed him black,
Once they're gone, they'll soon be back!
One Dream he has that begun to fade...
He's left in silence...
'No More...' he said...
