An eye to dry
A tear to fall
A hope that tomorrow
I’ll cry no more

But my hands still shake
My soul still quiver
‘Coz when my heart breaks
My mind still shiver

And drowned into this world
I sink down deeper
Longing for the strength
To pull me up higher

Yet twilight comes
Far too much swifter
And as the sun sets
The picture fades faster

So still trapped and cold
I brave the morning
Knowing in my heart your memory
I’ll be holding

Hoping that one day
I’d stop this yearning
Waiting for that someday
When my world goes on turning…
