No Myth, Nor Fairy Tale

Prepare to meet your God today
Too many live so dumb
For life tonight may fade away
And morning may not come

God’s paved the way to set us free
To heal and make us whole
He chose to die upon a tree
To save our shameful soul

God’s word is true His death was real
His resurrection too
For on life’s page He’s set His seal
As pledge to life anew

Through grace by faith we may receive
Through Jesus’ love divine
Salvation comes when we believe
Portrayed through bread and wine

Before too late before that dawn
Before our time is past
Through Jesus’ blood again be born
So says The First & Last

Obey The Lord His every rule
Love Him with heart and soul
There’s no more time to play the fool
If life would be your goal

This is no myth no fairy tale
Nor hoax someone would play
But from our eyes should fall the veil
That we be saved today

Believe dear friend the bible’s true
Its light unto our feet
Authored by God for all to view
To make His joy complete
