No Pain No Gain Poem by Basanta Dhungana

No Pain No Gain

Rating: 2.5

The darkness had begun
Back over my head again
Clock has crossed its twelve i realise
And I'm gonna stop it till early sunrise
And now am listening
And now am feeling
I'm breathing
My heart's beating
Neither the minutes nor the hours were
exclusive
But still a next day passed off leaving no
memories
Ruthless are the principles that say
A person lives by moments gathered all day
And now am listening
And now am feeling
I'm breathing
My heart's beating
Oh! am still living
A whimsical thought arises, , 'Oh this
way, , no i got to end this'
'I got to do something, i got to revive, be a
phoenix'
Other edge of the mind mocks, , 'boy you'll
surely say'
The very next day will be a just another day.
