No Peaking Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

No Peaking

Let God be your pillow
Soft and gentle
But supporting on both sides

Bird like feathers
Of peace and contentment
Swirl like a daisy being blown in the wind

Swirling all around
Glistening and fluttering
In the moonlight
Majical blind date that it is
Asking for a kiss

Falling equally on those who dare to sleep
