No Regrets Poem by Jinx C Mack

No Regrets

Take a breath
Face that nothings left
Exhale slow
One more trip down the rabbit hole
Just one last breath
I've given her all I have. There's nothing left.
She's my everything
Even though I am nothing.
Numb from this pain
Medicate and mask it with something.
Maybe it's time to begin to let go
Maybe today there won't be a tomorrow.
For her I would bleed
For her I would die to know she'd be happy.
Is Time to let her go?
A concept I've never known
She says she loves me
And I want to believe
But not as I love her
Was this all just a dream?
In her chest
my heart will always beat
And until my last breath
I'm forever in debt
To the one I have loved
With absolutely, no regrets
