No Tainted Love Poem by Ali Rahimi

No Tainted Love

You can see the love in my eyes,
Not dollars, the cash pies,
You can feel the heartfelt love in my trembling hands,
Not gold in my fat palms,
You can perceive real love in my fast beating heart,
Not diamonds in the soft tricky hands,
You can notice genuine intense love in my vigorous words,
Rendered tired and weak, in your appreciation,
Eroded in your constant admiration,
Not fake empty words of control and seduction,
My love is unconditional, unrequited,
Love you here and there, everywhere, every day,
Love you on the hills, in company of old wrinkled trees,
in the breeze,
Love you on the sea, on waves of passion, desire,
On warm waters of affection,
Love you on dark late night quiet streets,
Backstreet lovers, kissing and hugging in silence and fear,
Love you on the arid scorching deserts,
The only surviving thirsty loving souls,
like the sole liberal strong desert flower,
Love at the height of mountains,
Love on dangerous valleys, fearful ravines,
both hanging and kissing on cliffs,
Love, here, there, love everywhere,
No tainted love,
No tainted love,
No tainted love,
No tainted love,
Love under the pouring rain,
Every raindrop rushing to fall on your elegant skin,
Love on the white blanket of innocent massive snow,
As white and clear as your flesh and my tender thoughts,
Late night love in the small cozy balcony,
Looking at the sleeping reckless folks of the whole town,
Drinking the chaser of untainted real love,
Yes untainted transparent love like a shining glass,
Love in the basement, away from the piercing,
Stares of lustful penetrating impregnating male eyes,
Love here, love there, love everywhere,
Love behind the trees, behind the bushes!
In wild intact nature, pure instinct and freedom,
Far from the morality police,
Not captured by CCTVs, hidden cameras, mobile phones,
Love on the roof, enormous lofty high,
On emotions, high on excitement of your smile,
Love behind bars, in jails, accused of love sins,
Yes, no tainted love, no tainted love, no tainted love...
