No Time For War - Poem by Ples M. Phillips
If you look with care you will likely see
deep in your soul what life may be
from it's mystic fragments in early times
to this gasping planet and our grasping minds.
All life does battle as the form takes shape
with a struggle to breathe and steps to take
but the will is not harm for another
we are all for one and each for the other.
A brain must mature and the spirit be free
for that disease called age to no longer be
then the morning star that shines with dawn
is a gift from God when we overcome.
Then planet Mars will become a step
for a growing life that accepts Gods help
and the milky way trail will finally be
man's heavenly home for an eternity.
