....(No Title) Poem by Thomas Bates

....(No Title)

She whispers in
through
Keyholes that hold so many doors upright.
She speaks aloud in dreams.
Lovers' eyes Linger
as she watches the preciousness she sees -
Reflected
in reflectionsof her own, where they're
Reflected
in her own eyes, where they
ripple a water within herself.

her smile renders her face more beautiful -
shades
of blue & softer, lighter
green.
sweetness touches them
as fears take on wings
in regards
to an innocence childhood untouched...

(or so it seems.)

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

what shall i say to this? i don't claim to understand it. it is not funny, like many of mine are, but i won't hold that against you. it also doesn't have rhymes; wait, let me look again to be sure. nope. i don't think it is a love poem. i don't care for love poems usually, so this is good! it is followed by a poet's note. that i do appreciate. my favorite lines are: shades of blue & softer, lighter green i'd have to say i DO enjoy reading it. thanks for sharing. welcome to PoemHunter aka PH. bri :)
