No You Can'T Save Friendship Poem by Mark Anthony Mendoza

After the love and all the memories you’ve shared
Hatred will be in between the two of you
Could you save something to what is in the past?
When lovers end, friendship can’t become

I tried to talk and save our friendship
I know it’s hard to do but at least I’ve tried
First I thought we are doing fine,
I though she could understand why

When all I want is to see her fine
All I care is for her to smile
No I won’t let her shed a tear again
And why I’m here is because…

I want to save our friendship (no I guess it can’t be)
When two heart breaks (you should give a space)
No you can’t come out and call her again
Causes her pain, harder for her to let go

We where too good being friends
We seem to see what others can’t
We laugh and cry and yet we understand
But then I had to go, go on far away

No I don’t want her to see me (if she’ll cry)
No I won’t talk to her again (if it’ll make her sad)
No I won’t hurt her again and again and again… (I’m leaving)
But….

I just want to save our friendship (no I guess it can’t be)

So im saying goodbye, this is all that I can be
I know I’ve done you so much wrong
If this is have to be, at least we’ve tried before
Yet so much thankful for you…
